Responsibilities & Context
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager – Export to join our FMCG team in Bangladesh. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in export operations, with a specific focus on Africa & Europe. This role requires knowledge of international trade regulations, documentation, logistics, and market development strategies within the FMCG industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee export operations to African & European countries.
Identify and develop new business opportunities in target markets.
Coordinate with logistics, supply chain, and compliance teams to ensure timely and accurate shipment of goods.
Handle all export documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, LC documentation, etc.).
Liaise with customs, freight forwarders, and regulatory bodies.
Analyze and monitor market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity in Africa & Europe.
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and develop new distributor networks.
Track sales and performance KPIs for export markets and prepare regular reports.
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to adapt offerings for export markets.
Ensure compliance with international trade laws, local regulations, and company policies.
