The incumbent should have a B.Sc. in Leather or Footwear Engineering or a related field from a recognized public, private, or overseas university.

- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Leather goods/ Footwear/ Tannery

Knowledge of footwear commercialization and product development.
Understanding of footwear materials and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities & Context
Commercialize different types of footwear, including shoes and sandals, in line with product specifications and business requirements.
Develop production-friendly processes to ensure consistent product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
Ensure all production tooling is prepared, accurate, error-free, and ready before production commencement.
Handover all approved tooling to Production Planning within the established timeline.
Optimize each style to achieve maximum production efficiency and productivity.
Conduct production follow-ups and provide timely technical support to ensure smooth and uninterrupted production.
Coordinate with Design, R&D, IE, Quality, and Production teams to ensure smooth style commercialization.
Identify and resolve technical issues during sampling, trial runs, and initial production stages.
Ensure all technical documents, specifications, tooling details, and process parameters are accurate and properly maintained.
Monitor commercialization timelines and ensure new styles are transferred to mass production within the agreed schedule.
