Minimum 12–15 years’ experience in knitting (including 5 years in similar position).
Strong knowledge of circular & flat knitting machines and fabric quality standards.
Proven leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
Responsibilities & Context
Capable to handle the production for 200 plus circular knitting machine.
Lead and manage knitting production operations to achieve daily and monthly targets.
Ensure fabric quality as per buyer standards and minimize defects.
Supervise knitting teams (supervisors, operators, technicians) and ensure smooth workflow.
Monitor machine performance, ensure regular maintenance, and solve technical issues.
Control yarn usage, reduce wastage, and optimize production cost.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, factory regulations, and safety standards.
Coordinate with merchandising, dyeing, and finishing departments for timely delivery.
Continuously monitoring production progress, productivity levels, and efficiency metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
