Additional Requirements
- Age At least 30 years
Minimum [7] years of experience in import activities (preferably in RMG).
Strong knowledge of LC procedures, customs regulations, HS Code, and import policy.
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP software
Good communication and negotiation skills in both English and Bangla.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities & Context
Handle all import-related activities including LC opening, amendments, retirement, and payment follow-up with banks.
Coordinate with suppliers, C&F agents, shipping lines, and internal departments to ensure smooth import operations.
Maintain proper documentation for import activities as per company policy and regulatory requirements.
Monitor shipment schedules, follow up on timely clearance of goods, and resolve any issues with customs.
Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Bank, Customs, and other regulatory authorities.
Prepare and maintain reports related to import activities for management review.
Support the Commercial Manager in daily operational tasks and process improvement.
