Assistant/Deputy Manager-Warehouse

∎ To organize receiving, storing and supplying materials to factories in an efficient and economic manner.

∎ To keep and maintain quality and quantity of stock of materials at the approved stock prices within the stock level and provide protection against possible damage.

∎ Continuously update and streamline the layout plan handling of materials and administration.

∎ Ensure flawless housekeeping in every section of warehouse.

∎ Pursue each person under supervision to be loaded and perform to capacity.

∎ To ensure that the quality of materials received meet the requirement and are according to the specifications.

∎ Ensure smooth flow of merchandise to factories so that production is not interrupted.

∎ Check supply and receipt of materials on daily basis and maintain proper rotation of stock, which is First-In-First-Out and maintain 5S in stock.

∎ Go through every stock card on weekly basis and keep stock balances according to estimate.

∎ Maintain lowest possible level of dead and slow moving stock and supervise so that non-moving items are continuously in a stage of elimination.

∎ Maintain a neat and tidy storage area for materials.

∎ Prepare physical stock taking in an organized manner and maintain discipline and co-operative spirit within the department.

∎ Ensure that all works are done according to schedule and maintain interflow meeting with all personnel at a regular interval.

∎ Maintain liaison with all relevant departments and buyers

∎ To control stock turn, dead and slow moving materials and aging of materials.
