Job Context: We are a state-of-the-art, 100% export-oriented RMG manufacturing unit specializing in high-performance Activewear and Premium Lingerie. We are seeking a highly technical, dynamic Production Manager to oversee the end-to-end manufacturing operations of 13 high-efficiency production lines, covering Cutting, Sewing, and Finishing departments.

Job Responsibilities

• End-to-End Production Execution: Lead, plan, and execute the daily targets for 13 integrated production lines, ensuring seamless transition from the cutting room floor through sewing lines to final retail finishing and packing.

• Specialized Fabric & Prep Management: Supervise tension-free fabric relaxation, precision cutting, and specialized handling of high-elastane (Lycra/Spandex), synthetic, and delicate micro-mesh fabrics typical in activewear and lingerie manufacturing.

• Line Balancing & Efficiency: Optimize line layouts, execute accurate operations breakdowns, and balance lines to maintain peak SMV (Standard Minute Value) efficiency across all 13 lines.

• Quality & Technical Compliance: Ensure zero-defect output by strictly monitoring critical-to-quality elements such as stretchability, seam strength, flatlock/overlock stitch precision, and molding accuracy.

• Wastage & Consumption Control: Partner with the CAD and cutting managers to enforce maximum marker efficiency, strict fabric reconciliation, and minimize cutting or sewing floor damages.

• Inter-Departmental Synchronization: Coordinate directly with Planning, IE (Industrial Engineering), Quality Assurance, and Commercial teams to prevent bottlenecks and guarantee on-time-in-full (OTIF) shipments.

• Team Leadership & Safety: Drive, mentor, and evaluate a large workforce of supervisors, operators, and helpers while strictly enforcing lean manufacturing principles, compliance, and workplace safety.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Masters in any discipline.

• B.Sc. in Textile Engineering / Apparel Manufacturing Management from a reputed institution (e.g., BUTEX, NITER, BGMEA University) will receive distinct priority.

Experience Requirements

• 10 to 15 year(s) of total experience in the RMG sector, with at least 4–6 years of proven track record as a Production Manager directly managing activewear, synthetic sportswear, or intimate apparel/lingerie production lines.

• Deep technical expertise in specialized machinery like flatlock machines, zig-zag stitchers, bonding machines, and fabric relaxation equipment is mandatory.

Additional Requirements

• Age 35 to 45 years.

• Thorough understanding of handling highly stretchable, synthetic, and sensitive fabrics.

• Strong background in Lean Manufacturing, 5S implementation, and line balancing methodologies.

• Strong analytical, communication, and decisive problem-solving capabilities under tight shipment timelines.
