B.Sc. in Mechanical / Electrical from any reputed university or Equivalent.

Strong technical knowledge of sewing machine mechanisms and attachments
Experience with auto and computerized sewing machines is a plus
Skilled in guiding a large team of mechanics and helpers
Familiar with lean maintenance, TPM, and 5S principles
Proficient in using MS Office (Word, Excel) and basic reporting software
Good communication and leadership abilities
Responsibilities & Context
Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance for all types of sewing machines.
Troubleshoot and repair breakdowns of sewing machines such as Juki, Brother, Pegasus, Kansai, Siruba, etc.
Ensure timely machine setup, oiling, calibrations, and needle timing adjustments for smooth operation.
Monitor machine performance and reduce downtime through continuous monitoring and servicing.
Maintain detailed records of machine history, maintenance logs, and daily service reports.
Ensure availability of spare parts by forecasting demand and managing inventory efficiently.
Lead, supervise, and train sewing machine mechanics/technicians to build a skilled maintenance team.
Collaborate with production and quality departments to ensure optimum machine utilization.
Implement safety standards and ensure all machines meet compliance requirements (Accord/RSC/DIFE).
Recommend and implement machine upgrades, attachments, or modifications to enhance productivity.
Support factory expansion or layout rearrangement involving sewing machines.
Coordinate with machinery suppliers and vendors for technical support and installation.
