Education
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS) in Ophthalmology

Responsibilities & Context
- Examine and screen OPD patients, take histories and carry out basic eye examinations (slit-lamp, IOP, fundus).
- Diagnose common eye conditions and prescribe treatment within the scope of practice, referring complex cases to consultants.
- Manage emergency and casualty eye cases, including stabilization and timely referral.
- Assist in surgeries (cataract and other procedures) and perform pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-up.
- Conduct and supervise community outreach, screening camps, and school eye health programs.
- Guide and coordinate with paramedics, optometrists, nurses, and support staff.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the management.
