Strong knowledge of Core Network architecture and ISP operations.
Expertise in routing, switching, and network protocols.

Ability to manage critical network issues and ensure network stability.

Knowledge of network performance monitoring and capacity planning.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Responsibilities & Context
Design, implement, and maintain the ISP`s IP Core Network.
Manage Core Routers, Aggregation Routers, Broadband Network Gateway (BNG), and Internet Gateway infrastructure.
Manage Internet upstream connectivity and peering.
Monitor network capacity and perform capacity planning.
Ensure high availability and redundancy of the core network.
Lead network expansion, migration, and upgrade projects.
Coordinate with NOC, Transmission, EPON/GPON, and Customer Support teams during troubleshooting.
Analyze network performance and implement optimization strategies.
Manage DDoS mitigation, routing security, and traffic engineering.
Prepare and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and SOPs.
Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for major incidents.
Maintain SLA compliance and minimize network downtime.
Work with vendors for implementation, support, and maintenance activities.
Participate in emergency maintenance and after-hours support when required.
