5–7 years of experience in IT support or system administration.
Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, Linux, and common business applications.
Proficiency in networking (LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, DNS, DHCP).
Familiarity with cloud services (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, AWS, Azure).
Hands-on experience with IT security best practices, compliance audits, and incident management.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform under pressure.
Availability to provide support 24/7/365 in case of emergencies.
Responsibilities & Context
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated IT Support Engineer to join our team. This role requires a proactive professional who can collaborate across departments and subcontractors to ensure smooth IT operations, resolve technical issues, and enforce security compliance. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable troubleshooting hands-on problems, documenting processes, and conducting IT security audits of subcontractors to maintain strong data protection and compliance standards.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide first- and second-level technical support for hardware, software, and networks.
Collaborate with developers, system administrators, product managers, and subcontractors.
Support and optimize core business applications and specialized tools.
Manage user onboarding/offboarding, access controls, and IT documentation.
Monitor systems, perform preventive maintenance, and resolve incidents efficiently.
Conduct IT security audits of subcontractors, prepare reports, and ensure corrective actions.
Deliver user training on IT tools, best practices, and security awareness.
Drive continuous improvement by analyzing recurring issues and recommending solutions.
Provide emergency IT support outside of standard working hours when necessary, ensuring uninterrupted operations 24/7/365.
