1) The applicant is expected have at least 4-5 years of experience in any organizations which are related to brand or chain restaurant / cafe operations or hotel / hospitality industry or service oriented industry like cinema theatres / theme parks
2) The applicant is expected to have a Bachelor's / Honors Degree in Marketing or Management
3) The applicant is expected to have fair knowledge and skills of food operation management and team management
3) The applicant is expected to have strong skills in word, excel and power point and report generation capability
4) The applicant is expected to have strong expertise in both verbal and written English and Bengali
5) The applicant must be outcome driven, self motivated, disciplined and with strong ethical integrity
Responsibilities & Context
1) Manage and supervise all ground operations of Blockbuster Cinemas - Ticketing Counter, F&B Counters, Entry and Exit, Theatre Non Technical Maintenance, Supply Chain, Inventory and Kitchen.
2) Manage and supervise all the team members of Blockbuster Cinemas assigned for ticketing, F&B counters, customer relationship management, theatre operations, theatre on ground maintenance and others.
3) Manage and supervise the performance tracking / KPI of each team member closely with group HR team to ensure the team members strict adherence to HR process and policies of Blockbuster Cinemas and the group and take necessary measures to replace them on grounds of misconduct and work on the new recruitments as needed. Work with senior management to conduct annual appraisals and reviews of team members.
4) Foster a positive and collaborative work environment with strong leadership to motivate team members to deliver high performance and develop loyalty towards the organization
5) Develop and manage work flow process for smooth maintenance of ground and F&B operations from order placement to product quality management to inventory management to store management to kitchen management to order management to sales management and work closely with other internal departments of Blockbuster Cinemas and group to implement the necessary work in adherence to existing policies and process
6) Develop, implement and practice high standards of customer relationship management with the customers of Blockbuster Cinemas which includes customer satisfaction and customer grievance management
7) Work with top management to develop and implement strategies to maximize theatre revenues across ticket sales, F&B sales and introduce new revenue generation opportunities
8) Create a quarterly sales target for F&B outlets under Blockbuster Cinemas in discussion with senior management and ensure deployment of strategies to achieve them.
9) Analyze weekly / monthly / quarterly and annual ticket sales and F&B sales data to develop strategies to increase ticket sales and F&B sales.
10) Analyze monthly sales of F&B counters and outlets to understand performance of each menu to take out non performing menu and curate new menu for increase sales
11) Manage and supervise kitchen operations under F&B to ensure hygiene, food standards, government food safety compliances, team management and other requisite requirements
12) Develop business case and operational model for new F&B outlet under Blockbuster Cinemas and manage the operations once initiated
12) Supervise and maintain safety and security protocols for theatre and kitchen operations with utmost priority and supervision
13) Work closely with senior management to track and maintain budgetary controls and cost optimization measures
14) Manage and supervise purchase, operation and maintenance of all technical equipment of ticket counters, F&B outlets and others as required
15) Work with Purchase and Supply Chain departments to ensure all procurements of Blockbuster CInema operations are maintained in a transparent manner, timely manner, with speed and efficiency.
16) Work with the group HR Department for areas of salary disbursement, increments, problem solutions and other work as related and required.
17) Work with relevant departments to ensure PO issuance, bill monitoring and payment disbursement of suppliers related to Blockbuster Cinemas are handled accurately, timely and efficiently and with highest integrity and ethical standards
