A Bachelor’s degree in Climate Change, Disaster Science and Management, Social Sciences, Journalism and Mass Communication, Data and Information Management System, Business Studies, or a related field from a recognized university.
Up to 6 months of experience in areas such as research, advocacy, communications, or media engagement, ideally with a reputed organization—preferably within the international or non-governmental (I/NGO) sector.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Bangla.
Proficiency in developing diverse content including informational materials, social media posts, blogs, infographics, reports, and training manuals in both English and Bangla.
Hands-on skills in photography and videography, with the ability to produce and edit short videos using laptop- or mobile-based editing tools.
Familiarity with media relations and experience in media management is highly desirable.

Responsibilities & Context
The Climate Resilience Trainee, based in Dhaka, will play a key role in supporting the implementation of activities under the Climate and Resilience theme. The trainee will be responsible for building and maintaining effective engagement with youth organisations, youth networks, and community hubs, fostering collaboration and participation in resilience-related initiatives. Key responsibilities include developing and curating content on climate change adaptation, early warning systems, and disaster risk reduction for various platforms, including social media, organisational reports, and knowledge products and support ICT and EWS related works . The trainee will contribute to the preparation of informational and educational materials, ensuring messages are clear, impactful, and aligned with project goals. Additionally, the trainee will assist in coordinating and facilitating all administrative and logistical tasks related to trainings, workshops, and the dissemination of knowledge products, ensuring smooth execution of activities and effective outreach to target audiences.
Key Responsibilities
S/he will build and maintain relationships with youth organizations, hubs, and networks focused on climate change, early warning systems, and resilience initiatives.
Facilitate youth participation in events and campaigns.
Create, edit, and share engaging content (news, blogs, short videos and reports) in English and Bangla to showcase project outcomes.
Support social media campaigns and monitor audience engagement.
Promote youth inclusion in climate governance by collaborating with I/NGOs and partners.
Contribute to knowledge sharing and advocacy efforts.
Support in ICT and EWS related works for the overall climate resilience portfolio.
Assist in disseminating Early warning messages.
Provide logistical and administrative assistance for workshops, campaigns, and stakeholder engagement activities.
Support the evaluation of youth-focused initiatives, contributing to reporting and knowledge-sharing efforts.
