Responsibilities & Context
Job Purpose
Responsible for the implementation of the Malaria Elimination and TB Control project, and improving the Malaria & TB control status in the assigned area. Coordination with local Government and relevant stakeholders at district level for smooth implementation of the project. Supervision, Monitoring, and Evaluation of project activities according to plan and providing assistance and recommendations to field staff for improvement of services.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare work-plan and ensure integrated programme implementation of Malaria, TB, HIV and Covid-19 services under the guidance of national programmes
Ensure capacity development for field-level staff to implement Malaria, TB, HIV, and Covid-19 services.
Oversee diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of malaria & TB patient and referral of suspected COVID patients in the assigned area
Coordinate distribution of ITNs (Insecticide-Treated Nets) and ensure its utilization
Organize orientation sessions with different stakeholders and Social Behavior Change (SBC) activities
Maintain effective coordination with the all stakeholders including local government and other relevant partners at district and upazila level
Ensure all logistics and administrative support to subordinates for smooth functioning of the project activities.
Distribute human resources considering disease burden and programme needs
Collect and compile monthly MIS data from respective upazilas and send to UHC and line management timely as well as submit to respective online reporting portal also.
Conduct visits to monitor the implementation of field activities and provide feedback in the assigned area.
Prepare programmatic and other reports and documents as needed by the program within the stipulated timeline.
Facilitate periodic visits by national programmes, LFA, The Global Fund as well as internal & external monitoring and audit
Conduct necessary communication with local health administration, line management, and field-level staff and serve as a link among them to implement any decisions of the programmme.
Coordinate with other district representative of BRAC and implement best practices from other districts in their respective areas.
Practice and promote BRAC Gender Policy. Support implementation of gender equality and women empowerment at all levels.
SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
