  • Report Writing and Situation Analysis: Sound knowledge and skill to develop programmatic reports and documents with critical analysis of the situation.
  • Leadership and Supervisory Skill: Capable of guiding and supervising the field team as per workplan with minimal support from the line manager.
  • Age: Maximum 35 years (The age may be relaxed for the experienced candidates)

Responsibilities & Context

Manabik Shahajya Sangstha (MSS), a national NGO, is seeking a qualified and experienced professional to serve as the Sr. Program Assistant-Health for its Health Program focused on MCH and Nutrition, with the following requirements-

Job Summary: This role requires a strong analytical capacity and in-depth knowledge of monitoring and supervising health and nutrition activities, both at the field and hospital levels. The ideal candidate must be capable of overseeing the day-to-day field activities of the health program and maintaining liaison with respective government officials. The position demands the ability to navigate the challenges of field activities and foster community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Major responsibilities include (but are not limited to)

  • Provide support to the hospital and field-level team members in the implementation of health-related activities at the community level.

  • Assist in developing different health programs, events, and training materials to meet the goals of the MCH program of the organization.

  • Regular on-site monitoring of the program activities, sessions and support implementation of the MCH activities jointly with the MSS and SAF.

  • Conduct follow-up sessions and services, maintain records, and provide necessary support to field team members accordingly.

  • Conduct capacity building sessions for assigned field team members on different initiatives and strategies of health programs of the organization.

  • Work closely with other team members of the hospital in developing, maintaining, and ensuring the Strategic Business Plan (SBP) of the program.

  • Keep an informal learning network with other organizations doing health programs in the working areas of MSS, as well as the SAF.

  • Prepare reports in association with other team members and submit to the line manager in time. Also, provide regular updates and necessary information through mobile phone to the respective supervisor to keep them informed about ongoing activities and health program development.

  • Provide support to the program manager in the preparation of different presentations of MCH activities for the visitors and other stakeholders.

  • Participate in meetings, trainings, seminars, and workshops (at national & international level) as desired by the program and organization.

  • Carry out any other tasks assigned by the Supervisor elsewhere.

Compensation & Other Benefits
