Requirements

Education

    Bachelor or Master’s degree in in Social Science, Anthropology, Management or y relevant subject from any UGC approved University or institute.

Experience

Responsibilities & Context

This role will be responsible for implementing context-sensitive strategies, mainly the male engagement approaches in camp or host community. In addition, provide direct input on programme development in all relevant projects, including GBV prevention, risk mitigation, empowerment of women, outreach, capacity building and coordination related activities.

  • Facilitate Male Role Model Workshops and identify Role Models in the community to lead male engagement activities;

  • Provide weekly and monthly report and submit data on KOBO

  • Maintain and document the MRM workshop, session register and training data in the register.

  • Oversee the establishment and repair of centers and ensure billing support.

  • Collaborate closely with the accounts and logistics teams to ensure billing support for labor payments, volunteer payments, cash purchases, travel bills and other transactions with transparency. Provide support in the cash disbursement process by ensuring physical presence.

  • Ensure necessary permissions from Camp in Charge (CiC), Site Management, or BRAC Management for necessary program implementation.

  • Regularly attend in CiC meetings, sector meetings and other relevant meetings to advocate for the program and provide programmatic updates on current progress with data protection policies.

  • Maintain stock register, inventory, asset etc. properly and timely in effective manner.

  • Support the Girls Shine program by enrolling participants and conducting Male Caregiver sessions.

  • Conduct Literacy and Numeracy sessions to MRM workshop participants and Girls Shine male caregivers to enhance their reading, writing and comprehension skills.

  • Perform regular field monitoring to build relationships with Male Role Models, observe their sessions and provide constructive feedback to improve session quality.

  • Organize monthly planning meetings with Role Models to collect their work plans for the upcoming month, enhancing their effectiveness and accountability.

  • Organize and conduct skill and capacity-building training sessions for Male Role Models.

  • Provide supervision and ongoing training and mentoring to community male role models for GBV prevention activities.

  • Conduct Role Model follow up session regularly in order to enhance their capabilities in conducting sessions on GBV prevention topics

  • Plan and execute activities for various Day Observation in alignment with program goals.

  • Ensure the Community Feedback and Referral Mechanism (CFRM) by regularly opening the complaint box in the center and consistently gathering feedback from program activities.

  • Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
