Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s in English Language or Literacy or any related subject from a reputed university. Preference will be given to candidates from English medium backgrounds (O or A Level).
An IELTS band score of 7.0 or above is desirable.
Training certificate in Digital Literacy and ICT in Education.
IELTS Teaching certification or British Council-recognized teacher certification is an added benefit.
Experience

Responsibilities & Context
The Deputy Project Manager – English Language and Digital Literacy Lab will lead the implementation and supervision of English language and digital literacy training programs for Rohingya and host community youth. This includes overseeing lab setup, curriculum rollout, participant selection, and training delivery. The role ensures high-quality learning experiences, integration of IELTS preparation, and coordination with stakeholders to support socio-economic advancement and digital inclusion for participants.
Program Implementation and Supervision
Oversee day-to-day operations of the English and Digital Literacy Labs in camps and host communities.
Supervise trainers and facilitators, ensuring delivery of structured training aligned with approved curriculum and GoB digital literacy modules.
Monitor training schedules, batch progress, and adherence to session plans and learning.
Coordinate participant intake campaigns, eligibility screening, placement testing, and informed consent documentation.
Facilitate timely provision of teaching-learning materials, visibility kits (T-shirts, bags), and digital tools.
Academic Quality, Certification, and Assessment
Support trainers in developing learner-centric lesson plans and interactive content.
Track learner attendance, performance, and progress using digital MIS or manual tools.
Maintain participant records, including test scores and digital literacy assessment results.
Ensure consistency in curriculum delivery across locations, applying feedback for continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Coordination, Reporting, and Safeguarding
Liaise with CiC, site management, and other sector actors for permissions and program coordination at the camp level.
Represent BRAC in local coordination forums and language/digital learning stakeholder groups.
Ensure safeguarding standards are followed by all staff and volunteers in learning environments.
Prepare activity reports (weekly, monthly) and contribute to donor reports, impact tracking, and documentation.
Organize and support capacity-building training on Safeguarding, Gender Equality, and Facilitation for lab staff.
Safeguarding Implementation:
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme’s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
