The deserving candidate should have completed Level 2 of the NSDA Certified on Electrical Installation and Maintenance (EIM) course and have 3 years of experience as an instructor at a reputed Technical Education Centre.
Location: MSS Technical School (MTS), Kamarpukur, Saidpur, Nilphamari.
Strong knowledge of BTEB syllabus, NSDA standards, and CBT&A methodology.
Hands-on experience with electrical tools, machinery, and workshop safety practices.
Good communication skills in Bangla and English.
Ability to prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and maintain academic documentation independently·
Skilled in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email correspondence.
Ability to motivate and guide students, with counseling skills for career development.
Willingness to arrange and participate in industrial visits, practical training, and assessments.
Ability to train, mentor, and support junior teachers.Commitment to institutional policies, confidentiality, and professional ethics.

Responsibilities & Context

Responsibilities & Context:

The instructor (Electrical Trade) will be responsible for delivering both theoretical and practical classes in line with the BTEB syllabus and MSS Technical School modules. The role involves preparing academic plans, teaching materials, and assessment tools, as well as maintaining student records, examination documents, and institutional registers. The instructor will ensure proper use and maintenance of workshop equipment, support admission and learner acquisition processes, and coordinate with BTEB/NSDA for student assessments. Additionally, the role requires guiding new teachers, counseling students and parents, arranging industrial training/tours, and preparing reports as per institutional and regulatory requirements. The instructor must uphold confidentiality, institutional standards, and perform other tasks assigned by the management.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Conduct theoretical and practical classes according to the routine and as per the Syllabus of BTEB and MSS Technical School module.
Prepare time chart, session plan/semester plan, workshop/laboratory instruction sheet at the beginning of each semester/batch.
Prepare and update CBLM & module as per sector's demand.
Ensure purchase requisition and material usage report.
Support for learner acquisition and admission process.
Ensure formative and summative assessment of students during the course period.
Communicate with BTEB/ NSDA to ensure students NSC level: 1-4 assessment.
Prepare and maintain students' profile, result sheets & tabulation sheets/examination records.
Prepare and maintain documents related to BTEB as per requirement.
Make effective use/re-use of teaching resources and equipment etc.
Carryout periodic/timely maintenance of the teaching equipment etc.
Assist in preparing departmental budget (if any).
Guide and train the new Teachers to get used to the system of the institute.
Maintain all Registers (Attendance Register, Record Register, Lesson Plan Register, and Notice Register, etc.)
Counsel to the Guardians/ Parents as and when required.
Arrange industrial attachment training & Industrial tour for students.
Prepare different reports to meet the requirement of BTEB and MTS management.
Maintain and update all record and report as per requirement.
Maintain total secrecy and confidentiality in respect of the institutional affairs and uphold the dignity of the institution.
Perform any other tasks as and when assigned by the Management.
