- Approximately 30 years of international experience in Leaf Purchasing, Quality Management, Agronomy, and Tobacco Processing.
- Strong expertise in quality evaluation and management of various tobacco types, including Oriental, FCV, Burley, Rajangan, and other specialty tobaccos.
- Proven experience in global leaf purchasing, strategic sourcing, supplier management, and leading cross-functional teams.
- Experience in managing Proactive Pest Prevention (4P), NTRM Reduction, Leaf Quality Improvement, and Sustainability Initiatives.
- Demonstrated success in leading large-scale manufacturing and processing operations, improving operational efficiency, and optimizing costs.
- In-depth knowledge and experience in international quality standards, compliance requirements, hygiene inspections, and quality risk management.

WHAT THIS POSITION IS ABOUT - PURPOSE:
The scope of the position encompasses the planning, procurement, processing, quality assurance, and shipping of all Bangladesh leaf requirements while ensuring full compliance to all Company policies and procedure. The incumbent will need to develop a sound understanding of the Bangladesh leaf market to control and manage all aspect of Leaf function.
What You Will Do
- Provide leadership and planning for all aspects of the Leaf function, including ASP planning, leaf budgeting, purchasing, processing, quality assurance, warehousing and logistics, fumigation, origin inspection, and dry shipment.
- Develop and manage tobacco leaf procurement strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Oversee, support, and provide guidance for effective administration related to leaf reporting, inventory management, and leaf planning activities.
- Build strong talent pipelines and succession plans aligned with departmental and business requirements.
- Lead safety campaigns, encourage innovative thinking, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure blend quality throughout all stages of processing, provide guidance to subordinates when deviations are identified, and maintain consistent product quality standards.
