To strengthen our operations in Chattogram, we are seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager (Export) who will play a critical role in leading export operations, ensuring service excellence, and driving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Export Operations & Compliance

• Manage and oversee the end-to-end export cycle including booking, documentation, customs clearance, and shipment execution.

• Ensure all export processes comply with Bangladesh Customs, port regulations, and international trade requirements.

• Supervise preparation and verification of shipping documents such as Bill of Lading, Packing List, Commercial Invoice, Certificate of Origin, and Export Declaration.

• Monitor container stuffing, vessel planning, and timely dispatch of shipments from Chattogram Port.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Liaise with shipping lines, airlines, NVOCCs, C&F agents, port authorities, and customs officials to ensure smooth and timely cargo movement.

• Maintain regular communication with overseas agents, partners, and global offices for coordination of shipments.

• Handle escalations and ensure customer service excellence in all operational aspects.

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, train, and develop the export operations team in Chattogram.

• Monitor staff performance, set operational KPIs, and ensure accountability.

• Foster a culture of teamwork, discipline, and efficiency within the department.

Process Improvement & Cost Control

• Develop, review, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to optimize operational efficiency.

• Identify cost-saving opportunities while ensuring quality service.

• Maintain performance dashboards and provide regular reports to senior management.

Customer Management

• Ensure high-quality customer service by meeting deadlines and accuracy in documentation.

• Resolve client queries, complaints, and operational issues promptly.

• Build strong, long-term relationships with key accounts.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.

• 8–10 years of professional experience in freight forwarding / logistics export operations, including at least 3+ years in a managerial position.

• Strong working knowledge of:

  • Export documentation & compliance (including customs rules & HS Codes).

  • Port/airport handling and cargo movement procedures.

  • Freight rates, vessel schedules, and shipping line operations.

• Excellent leadership, people management, and decision-making skills.

• Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to handle high-pressure situations.

• Proficiency in MS Office and logistics/ERP systems.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bangla.

• Male candidates only (as per company requirement).

Work Schedule

• Office Days: Saturday to Thursday

• Office Hours: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
