Deputy Manager (Factory)

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee overall factory operations and daily production activities.

• Prepare and implement production plans to achieve daily and monthly targets.

• Monitor production quality and minimize defects, wastage, and operational costs.

• Manage factory manpower, supervisors, and production teams.

• Ensure proper utilization of raw materials, machinery, and other resources.

• Monitor inventory, machinery maintenance, workplace safety, and housekeeping.

• Coordinate with HR & Admin, Procurement, Store, and other relevant departments.

• Prepare regular production and operational performance reports.

• Identify operational challenges and implement necessary improvements.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable labour laws.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a relevant discipline.

Experience Requirements:

• 5–7 years of relevant experience in factory or production management.

• At least 2 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role.

Additional Requirements:

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Good communication and reporting skills.

• Strong knowledge of production planning, inventory, and cost management.

• Ability to work under pressure and achieve production targets.

• Material wastage and cost control.

• Timely completion of production orders.
