Minimum 7–10 years of experience in the printing/publication industry, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of printing machinery, processes, and publication standards.
Proficiency in costing, budgeting, and project management.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle multiple publication projects under strict deadlines.
Familiarity with digital publishing and modern printing technologies will be an added advantage.
Responsibilities & Context
Key Responsibilities:
Have adequate knowledge of printing and publication processes.
Ensure high-quality publication of books, magazines, journals, novels, and other related documents.
Possess sound knowledge of various printing machines, technologies, and processes.
Prepare, analyze, and control costing and budgeting for publication projects.
Manage and resolve all kinds of issues related to printing and publication.
Plan, organize, and supervise the complete publication cycle from manuscript to final output.
Coordinate effectively with authors, editors, designers, printers, and suppliers.
Monitor the quality of paper, ink, and other raw materials to ensure desired standards.
Implement strict quality control measures to maintain accuracy, consistency, and aesthetics.
Ensure timely completion and delivery of all publication projects.
Develop strategies to minimize wastage and optimize resource utilization.
Lead, guide, and train the publication team to enhance efficiency and skills.
Stay updated with modern publishing tools, digital technologies, and industry best practices.
Maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
Prepare and present reports on publication performance, costs, and timelines to senior management.
