Responsibilities & Context
Overall Responsibilities
The chemist will be responsible for analyzing raw materials and final products, optimizing the manufacturing process, ensuring quality control, developing new glass formulations, and managing environmental safety and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Formulation of different recipes for batch calculation of glasses.
Checking glass quality by different analysis methods.
Maintain all laboratory-related chemical stock.
Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and analytical equipment.
Maintain all types of laboratory-related documents as per ISO Standard.
Analysis of glass raw materials such as Silica sand, Dolomite, Limestone, and Soda Ash.
Conduct in-depth chemical analyses on raw materials, intermediates, and final products using advanced laboratory techniques and equipment.
Ensure and implement quality control procedures to ensure the consistency and reliability of glass products.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve quality-related issues, optimizing manufacturing processes.
Design, plan, and execute experiments to improve existing products or develop new glass formulations.
Analyze and interpret experimental data, prepare detailed reports, and make recommendations for process improvements.
Stay updated with industry trends, research findings, and technological advancements to enhance product quality and production efficiency.
