Responsibilities & Context
Supply Chain Management & Procurement responsibility of Large Garment Industry.
Justification of requisition before purchase
Will be responsible to Purchase Machineries, Raw materials for Textile and Garments related products, Machineries, Accessories, Chemicals, etc.
Ensure effective procurement both foreign & local.
Lead, train, and motivate the SCM team to achieve departmental goals.
Track key supply chain metrics (cost, lead time, service level, accuracy).
Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely availability of raw materials and services.
Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors to develop procurement strategies that are trustworthy and cost-effective.
Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure beneficial terms and finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries.
Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility and maintaining long-term relationships.
Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term savings on procurement costs.
Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business partnerships
Coordinate with other departments for justified spare parts, requisitions and supplies.
To carry out any other tasks as assigned by the Management as and when required.
